As you may know, our mindful perfumes serve as a gentle invitation to look within: a daily self-love ritual to help you find calm in today's fast-paced world. We believe wholeheartedly that when we honour ourselves first, it allows space in our hearts to bless and inspire others.
In addition to encouraging you to be the best version of yourself, we also wish to empower you to make a difference. We believe that every contribution counts and this is why we're proud to announce our part in the purchase-with-a-purpose movement this May.
In honour of Mother's Day and the upcoming World Maternal Mental Health Day, all orders made in the month of May will go towards a cause very dear to our founder's heart: mental health support for new and expecting mothers.
DID YOU KNOW?
As many as 1 in 5 mothers experience some type of perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMADs). These illnesses frequently go unnoticed and untreated, often with tragic and long-term consequences to both mother and child.
Women of every culture, age, income level and race can develop perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Symptoms can appear any time during pregnancy and the first 12 months after childbirth.
WE ARE SUPPORTING MOTHERS THIS MAY.
For the month of May, every time you purchase a mindful perfume from The Aruem, we will donate 5% of the proceeds to Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia (PANDA).
PANDA is a nonprofit organisation which operates Australia’s only National Helpline dedicated to post and antenatal depression and anxiety. It responds to the needs of families across Australia who are expecting a baby or in the first 12 months after birth - from major cities to rural and remote areas.
Helpline peer support workers and professional counselling staff offer phone support, information, counselling and referrals for expecting and new mothers - as well as fathers and their families. PANDA also provides secondary consultation to health professionals.
By donating to support PANDA's work, together we can ensure that those most in need are able to receive timely, appropriate and supportive care.
